I purchased the first book with the plan to buy the others if I liked it. The artwork is fabulous however the story wasn’t to my liking. That, of course, says more about my personal preferences than the writer’s talent. I understand being inspired by other works, but to me, this felt like a mashup of Planet of the Apes, The Hunger Games, and The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur. There’s no doubt that the art is amazing, and I’m all for supporting new artists but I suppose one has to draw a line re
I just read your chapter, and man, I liked the whole concept. All the concepts, the plot twist of Jaha—a plot twist within a plot twist—were overlapped perfectly.
And don't get me started on the concept of 'hunting intentionally only with the traditions.' The idea seemed simple, but what made it intriguing was that people intentionally used traditional ways.
Each character had its own distinctive personality.
I just completed The World Beyond and I am absolutely blown away by the World building
When it started I was a little wary, with the expo dump of the planets, but it picked right up from the next page. Every panel serves a purpose in the world building. Kudos!
